Daemyung IT (CEO Jong-in Kim), a specialized gas meter manufacturer, obtained intrinsically safe explosion-proof certification from the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KTL) on the 2nd for turbine and rotary gas meters from the Polish company COMMON, which it imports and distributes. With this, Daemyung IT is now able to supply explosion-proof certified gas meters to large-scale workplaces.

The common gas meters currently being supplied by Daemyung IT are turbine meters from G65 to G4000 and rotary meters from G40 to G400, which have been supplied to domestic city gas companies and industrial companies.

“With Commonsa’s acquisition of explosion-proof certification, we have secured competitiveness for supplying to large corporations in the future,” said Lee Ho-young, director of Daemyung IT, adding that they will strive to provide the best satisfaction to customers.

Meanwhile, Daemyung IT has localized industrial membrane gas meters from G6 to G40 in addition to household membrane gas meters, and is also leading the development of the gas meter industry by localizing turbine gas meters from G65 to G250.
