[Gas Newspaper = Reporter Park Gwi-cheol] Daemyung IT Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Ho-young), a comprehensive gas meter manufacturer, received OIML R 137 certification from the Netherlands NMI for three standards of its gas meters, G1.6, G2.5, and G4, on the 8th.
After about a year of preparation to obtain this certification, Daemyung IT passed rigorous durability tests, temperature and pressure tests, and proved its quality excellence in the international market.
With this, Daemyung IT has established a foundation for advancing into the European and North American markets, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, with gas meters that it has been exporting to Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, and Israel.
Daemyung IT CEO Lee Ho-young said, “Since the technical standards for gas meters are based on OIML, obtaining R 137 this time is very meaningful for expanding exports,” and emphasized, “In the future, we will expand exports by obtaining OIML R 137 certification for industrial G6, 10, 16, and 25 as well.”
Founded in January 2001, Daemyung IT has been importing and distributing industrial gas meters. In 2007, it localized the industrial G10, 16, and 25, and in 2013, it began producing household gas meters, exporting them to both domestic and overseas markets. In particular, it won the $1 million export tower award in 2020.
In addition, the company is growing into a comprehensive measuring instrument manufacturer by producing gas volume conversion devices (temperature and pressure compensators), industrial water meters, and integrated calorimeters.
